Movie The Karate Kid gives us a very in depth view of religion and culture is represented in popular culture, in this day and time. The movie deals with various references to Oriental Religion, especially, looking at values of Buddhism, Zen and Confucian. It also introduces on the effect of media and distribution, and how that has an effect on the perception of the individuals. Movie deals with various religions and I thought that was very interesting.
